【Objective】 To analyze the change in cell-mediated function in infants vaccinated with BCG. 【Methods】 Peripheral blood specimen from 150 infants with positive PPD test (Group successfully Vaccination,SV) and 50 ones with negative PPD test (Group failure vaccination,FV) were collected.The cytokine IFN-γ and IL-10 concentrations were measured by ELISA to evaluate cell-mediated immunity function after BCG vaccination. 【Results】 Serum IFN-γ concentrations in Groups SV and FV were (49.78±12.20)and (38.08±7.68)pg/mL,respectively(P=0.001).Serum IL-10 contents in Group SV and FV were (3.60±2.00) and (5.71±2.71)pg/mL,respectively (P<0.01). 【Conclusion】 The infants vaccinated successfully (positive PPD test) had an increasing cell-mediated immunity function.
