Abstract

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in children,significantly impacting academic performance, social functioning, and behavioral development.Family and community environments play important roles in the onset and progression of ADHD.This review summarizes recent research on the associations of family-and community-related factors with core ADHD symptoms, academic performance, and social functioning, aiming to provide a more comprehensive perspective and inform future intervention strategies for ADHD.
