Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of gestational hypertension on the outcome of premature infants, and to provide a scientific basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods Totally 112 cases admitted to NICU were enrolled in observation group from January to December 2015.Meanwhile,a total of 102 cases with fetal distress premature were selected as the control group.Complete clinical data including the general data, white blood cells, hemoglobin, platelet, coagulation function, related complications and other data were collected and compared between two groups. Results In observation group, the gestational age and the ratio of low birth weight newborn were lower and the difference was significant. There were difference between gestational age and the ratio of were not statistical. In observation group, antenatal abnormalities (intrauterine distress, amniotic fluid pollution) and sepsis cases after birth were significantly higher. In observation group, the levels of white blood cells, platelets, and number of neutrophils were lower than control group and PT,APTT were higher than control group. In observation group, the respiratoy support time and oxygen time were significantly longer than in control group. And the incidence of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP),necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and intracranial hemorrhage(IVH) was higher which difference were significant. The NBNA in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions Gestational hypertension may cause fetal intrauterine growth restriction.Pretmature infants born to gestational hypertension mothers are prone to high incidence of leukocytopenia, neutroperia, coagulation disorder, infection, sepsis, comorbidity and sequela.
